What is working of Rotary Screw Pump?
Rotary screw pump are positive displacement pumps that use rotating, intermeshing screws to move viscous fluids. Rotary Screw Pump operates using two counter-rotating screw rotors. There is rotating screw rotors which is placed in such a way that they rotate towards each other. This the gas in the space between the screws of their rotors. As the screws rotate, the catched volume decreases compresses and also moves the gas towards the exhaust. They are equipped with screws that mesh together and rotate within a cylindrical cavity or liner.
